Fred Gilbert is the Senior Soil Scientist doing business as Consulting Soil Scientist (CSS). Gilbert has over forty years experience in soil survey. CSS has the capability to organize large soil survey parties for projects that require a larger staff to meet prescribed time tables.

Consulting Soil Scientist offers experienced technical assistance in classifying, mapping, and interpreting soils following the conventions and traditions of the National Cooperative Soil Survey. CSS products include Soil Mapping, Wetland Delineations, Site Investigations, and Expert Testimony.
